At the Bukovel resort (Ivano-Frankivsk region), a vacationer insulted a combat medic who came for rehabilitation: he called him a “horse” and a “provocateur”.
And when, when asked where he came from, the military man answered that from Bakhmut, the man “advised” him to go there and return.
As it turned out, it all started with a “language issue”: according to the name-caller’s wife, she and her husband spoke Russian. The military made a remark to them, and then began to provoke her husband.
In a widely distributed video, an aggressive man in a bathrobe and with a mug of beer calls the military man a “horse” and a “provocateur”. In the next video, the doctor explained that he was in the resort for post-traumatic rehabilitation.
Later, the commander of the 2nd assault battalion of the 3rd Specialized Brigade, Dmitry Kukharchuk, said that the name of the offending military man was Alexander Fatula – he demanded an apology from him to everyone who is now in Bakhmut.
The medic posted a video of the conflict on TikTok on April 2.
You see, provocateurs have arrived here and are starting here. Where did he come from? – the vacationer asks the staff in Russian.
The serviceman replies that he came from Bakhmut.
So go there to your Bakhmut! Why are you sitting here? the man responds.
As the author said in his next video, he is undergoing psychological post-traumatic rehabilitation in Bukovel, “because our state has the opportunity to provide such a service to military personnel.”
But yesterday I heard that the Armed Forces of Ukraine are “cattle”, and today the military was called unkind words,” the doctor said.
On Monday, April 3, the wife of her husband, who insulted the soldier, told her version of events. She noted that she and her husband spoke Russian among themselves, and the combat medic (then they did not yet know who he was) made a couple of remarks.
Of course my husband didn’t like it and he reacted. At first softly, and then rougher, – said the wife of the vacationer.
She stated that the serviceman provoked her husband in order to then film the situation on camera “at a favorable moment for him.” According to her, this is “not the first conflict in this hotel” for a military man “undergoing rehabilitation due to mental disorders.”
