On Monday, April 3, President Volodymyr Zelensky held a meeting outside the Headquarters of the Supreme Commander-in-Chief in Chernihiv. He said this in his video message.
“A new field meeting of the Headquarters – the first was in the Dnieper, today – in Chernigov. Major security issues – in the front line, in the northern region and on the border. The commanders of the directions reported – this time general Syrsky and Tarnavsky reported through secure communications, and not in person, from the hottest sector of the front,” he said.
The head of state noted that a meeting of the Headquarters was held today with full preparation of active actions for the liberation of Ukrainian territories.
“The situation in Bakhmut, Avdiivka, Maryinka and the entire Donetsk region. Belogorivka and the entire Luhansk region. Commander-in-chief and head of the Main Intelligence Directorate of the Ministry of Defense, head of the State Border Guard Service, representatives of the Ministry of Defense. A full meeting. Full coordination. Full preparation of our active actions for the liberation of Ukrainian lands” said Zelensky.
He also added that in the Chernihiv region this morning there were many negotiations, including with international partners.
Recall that today the US Permanent Representative to NATO said that the West is expected to start a Ukrainian military counter-offensive in the coming weeks.
