There are eight children left in Avdiivka. Local authorities are planning to institute a mandatory evacuation.
Eight children remain in Avdiivka, Donetsk region. Five were previously known, but three more have been found. This was announced on April 2 on Espreso air by the head of the city’s military administration, Vitaliy Barabash.
“The day before yesterday there were six children in the city, one was released – it became five. Then three more were found. Now the real number of children is eight,” he said.
According to Barabash, as of Monday, 13 front-line communities in the Donetsk region want to introduce forced evacuation of children. Despite constant shelling, parents refused to let their children out of Avdiivka.
“Even after the death of a five-month-old boy, other parents refuse to leave – they don’t want to leave. Perhaps there is nothing left to reach these parents – except for negativity, we are gone. They are not enough, says the all without children in the city. None of “They didn’t confirm it. They hid the children. Some types of espionage tendencies. Let’s see, we’ll get them out,” said the UVA leader.
Remember, on March 7, the government approved the forced evacuation of children from the war zone. Mandatory evacuation of children by force will be carried out with one of the parents, a person who will replace them, or another legal representative.
