This was said by the Deputy Minister of Energy of Ukraine Yaroslav Demchenkov at a meeting with the State Ministry for Europe and Climate Affairs of the German Foreign Ministry Anna Luhrmann, reports on Saturday, April 1, the Ministry of Energy.
“Ukraine can become a European sustainable energy hub, and we set ourselves ambitious goals as part of our programs to restore the energy sector,” said Demchenkov.
It was noted that during the meeting, the parties discussed ways to strengthen bilateral cooperation and focused on the need to accelerate green transition processes during the restoration of Ukraine’s energy sector.
It was previously reported that instead of the damaged power units, Ukraine plans to build 20 small modular reactors.
