The famous Ukrainian fighter Daniil Lyashuk with the call sign Mujahid died in the battles in the Bakhmut direction.
The deceased hero was from a Belarusian city. In 2014, after the occupation of Crimea by Russia, he joined the ranks of the volunteer battalion “Tornado”, which fought against the invaders and militants of ORDLO in the zone of the Anti-Terrorist Operation. The death of the Mujahideen on April 1 was reported by the Telegram channel DeniVedetti.
In March last year, Lyashuk was again at the front. The hero received two wounds when he delivered a captured Russian occupier to his unit.
Unfortunately, we are forced to report the death of our friend, our brother, our loved one. We ask the authorities to confer the title of Hero of Ukraine and grant citizenship posthumously to the hero who fought for Ukraine,” the Telegram channel reported.
Recall that on March 7, in the battles for the city of Bakhmut, the Hero of Ukraine Dmitry Kotsyubaylo “Da Vinci” died. The junior lieutenant, who was 27 years old, led a separate mechanized battalion “Da Vinci Wolves” as part of the 67th separate mechanized brigade of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. “Da Vinci” has been at the front since the beginning of the Russian-Ukrainian war.
