NATO countries plan to send six Leopard tank battalions to Ukraine.

German Defense Minister Boris Pistorius said that NATO countries plan to send two battalions with German Leopard-2 battle tanks and four battalions of Leopard-1 tanks to Ukraine, a total of 160 pieces of equipment will be transferred.

Pistorius said that Poland, together with the allies, will send two battalions of Leopard-2 to Kyiv, where there will be 60 tanks. In addition, by the end of the year, 100 Leopard-1 tanks, assembled in four battalions, will be added to them. The German Defense Minister noted that the United States, along with Great Britain, also supply tanks.

The Minister noted that it is unlikely that it will be possible to transfer more such weapons to our country due to the limited resources of the allies. He also added that Germany cannot give everything away, because there are reserves that cannot be spent.
