In the past day, the Ukrainian military repelled 70 attacks by Russian aggressors and inflicted more than 20 strikes on them. The General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine reported this in the morning summary on Saturday, April 1.
“The enemy continues to focus its main efforts on conducting offensive operations in the directions of Limansky, Bakhmutsky, Avdeevsky and Maryinsky. Over the past day, thanks to the organized and coordinated actions of the units of the Defense Forces of Ukraine, as well as the personal bravery of each defender, 70 enemy attacks were repulsed in these directions,” the summary said.
It is emphasized that the most intense fighting continues for the settlements of Belogorovka, Bakhmut, Avdeevka and Maryinka.
Yesterday, the enemy launched five missiles and 16 air strikes, made 39 attacks from multiple launch rocket systems.
In turn, the aviation of the Defense Forces in the past day delivered 10 strikes in areas where the invaders were concentrated. Missile and artillery troops hit nine places of concentration of enemy manpower, weapons and military equipment, a fuel and lubricant warehouse, two anti-aircraft missile systems, an artillery unit in a firing position , and an electronic warfare station.
