The Security Service of Ukraine (SBU) published a photo search of the house of the former rector of the Kiev-Pechersk Lavra, Metropolitan Pavel.
Investigative actions took place at the place of residence and stay of Pasha Mercedes (as he is often called in the media).
The photos posted by the security service on social media show the Metropolitan’s suburban home and some fragments of its interior.
The SBU handed a suspicion to Metropolitan of the UOC-MP Pavel today.
He was charged with two articles:
Part 1 Art. 161 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine (violation of the equality of citizens depending on their racial, national, regional affiliation, religious beliefs);
Part 1 Art. 436-2 (justification, denial of the armed aggression of the Russian Federation against Ukraine, glorification of its participants).
In the Shevchenkovsky court of Kyiv, a court session began on choosing a measure of restraint for the former rector of the Kiev-Pechersk Lavra, Metropolitan Pavel. The meeting is held behind closed doors.
