There are enough people of non-traditional sexual orientation in Belarus, they are also in power, Lukashenka pointed out.
On Friday, March 31, Alexander Lukashenko, in his annual speech to the citizens and parliament of Belarus, said that there are “enough” people of non-traditional sexual orientation in Belarus, and many gays work in power and he themselves are satisfied with their work.
“God forbid” non-gays “to work as they do. I sincerely tell you, there is not one negative characteristic – I analyzed it in different directions,” he said.
At the same time, he said that he personally considers gay people “disgusting”, but that he “forgives” women who practice the same sex.
“I, as president, forgave the women. I take this blame on you too. So, we, the men, overlooked, somewhere we didn’t work out in something,” he said.
He added that such ties will not be banned in Belarus.
It should be reminded that the self-proclaimed President of Belarus, Alexander Lukashenko, signed a law on the death penalty for officers and military, charged with “high treason” by the judicial institutions of Belarus.
Earlier, Lukashenka rudely called Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky in connection with the sabotage of the Machulishchi military airport.
