E-prescription drugs: hype in pharmacies

About 60% of drugs registered in Ukraine are prescription drugs. The rest can be bought without a prescription.

There has been chaos in Ukrainian pharmacies over fears that the drugs, traditionally widely used by Ukrainians, will only be available by prescription from April 1.

Social networks published photos and videos of queues in pharmacies.

Remember that in Ukraine from April 60% of medicines can be bought by electronic prescription.

So, starting tomorrow, prescription painkillers and antipyretics, cough medicine, hormonal drugs, antihistamines (anti-allergic) drugs, drugs against hypertension and cardiovascular diseases will be given on prescription.
