Such a decision can be made together with the President of Russia Vladimir Putin and “everything is ready” for its implementation.
With the growth of threats, strategic nuclear weapons can be introduced in Belarus and the infrastructure for this is ready. This was announced on March 31 by the country’s self-proclaimed president, Alexander Lukashenko, speaking with a message to the people and parliament.
“It is necessary – we (Russian President Vladimir) Putin and I will decide and introduce strategic (nuclear) weapons here,” the politician insisted.
He added that the infrastructure for storing this type of weapon is ready in the country.
“Our converted planes can also carry nuclear warheads, carry nuclear warheads. You heard from the President of Russia about joint plans to create the appropriate infrastructure on the territory of Belarus. I would just clarify: the entire infrastructure has been created and is ready,” Lukashenka assured.
Remember, the Belarusian politician said that if Russia is in danger of disintegration, it will use “the most terrible weapon.”
As reported Correspondent.netOn March 25, Putin announced that Moscow had agreed with Minsk on the deployment of tactical nuclear weapons on the territory of Belarus. He argues that this “will not violate the obligations under START.”
