The Economic Court of Kyiv refused to secure the claim of the UOC-MP against the National Reserve “Kyiv-Pechersk Lavra”. The Lavra’s viceroy, Metropolitan Pavel (the famous pseudo Pasha “Marcedes”) stated that the pro-Russian clergy would not leave the territory of the Lavra until there was a court decision.
The court refused to satisfy the claim of the UOC-MP, said the Minister of Culture and Information Policy Oleksandr Tkachenko.
The court refused to secure the claim in case No. 910/4552/23 from the UOC to the National Reserve “Kyiv-Pechersk Lavra” on the invalidation of the transaction on the unilateral refusal of the contract, the application of the consequences of the invalidity of the termination of the Contract No. 2 of July 19, 2013 by religious buildings and other property , which is state property, the report says.
Recall that yesterday the OCU appointed a new governor of the Kiev-Pechersk Lavra. The UOC-MP must leave the territory of the shrine, but on the second day it refuses to do so. The commission of the Ministry of Culture, which is supposed to carry out an inventory of the property of the “Kyiv-Pechersky Reserve”, was not allowed into the Lavra by the parishioners of the UOC-MP. They were incited to do it by the governor of the Lavra, Pasha “Mercedes”. He also threatened journalists to beat them with a stick. The National Union of Journalists announced mass violations of the rights of journalists near the Kiev-Pechersk Lavra.
