15 Viktor air defense systems are sent from the Czech Republic to Ukraine, which were purchased with funds raised by volunteers. Money was collected from those who care as part of the Putin’s Gift initiative.
As part of this initiative, Czech volunteers managed to collect 90 million crowns, according to “Military”.
On Thursday, March 30, volunteers reported that Viktor mobile anti-aircraft systems are already being sent to Ukraine.
Time to say good-bye. 15 MR-2 Viktor anti-drone systems, for which we collected 90 million from you, are sent to the front. Let the Ukrainian military shoot accurately, take care of yourself,” the volunteers wrote.
They also published photos with these anti-aircraft systems.
In early March, the completion of production in the Czech Republic of 15 Viktor anti-aircraft systems for the air defense of Ukraine was reported.
It is stated that these systems are capable of effectively protecting strategic and civilian objects from attacks by kamikaze drones. Viktor complexes are assembled at the factory of the Czech company Excalibur Army.
The Viktor mobile anti-aircraft complex is based on the chassis of a Toyota pickup truck with a crew cab in front and a twin 14.5-mm anti-aircraft machine gun in the rear cargo compartment. The use of such a chassis gives a high level of mobility on and off-road.
This Excalibur Army complex offers a cheap anti-aircraft artillery system that can be used to destroy aerial threats such as drones.
