The rector of the Kiev-Pechersk Lavra, Pavel Lebed, slipped into open threats to the president and his family.
In a new video message, Pasha “Mercedes” (as the former rector of the Kiev-Pechersk Lavra is often called) announced a “heavenly punishment” for the President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky, a heavenly punishment for the expulsion of the UOC-MP from the Kiev-Pechersk Lavra.
Pavel threatened not only the president, but also the Zelensky family, along with the family of the Minister of Culture Alexander Tkachenko, got it from the “man of God”. Pavel did not ignore the director of the reserve, the Cabinet of Ministers, the HCU, and even Patriarch Bartholomew.
Our tears will not fall to the ground, but will fall on your head. The Lord will not forgive you and your family. The brethren of monks have been thrown out into the street,” Pasha told the Mercedes.
Commenting on his recent receipt of a passport, the metropolitan said that he would not leave the country.

They say everywhere that I’m leaving. No, I will not go to the last. I will bury all of you for the time being,” said the minister of the church.
On March 29, the last service of the UOC-MP was held in the Kiev-Pechersk Lavra. The church service was led by the archimandrite of the Lavra, Metropolitan Pavel (Lebed). Several hundred believers gathered for the service, standing in the temple and on the street. There were many Ukrainian and foreign journalists on the territory of the Lavra. There were no disturbances.
Metropolitan Pavel stated that he and the clergy of the UOC-MP have the right to stay and do not plan to leave the Lavra until the end of the trial with the Kiev-Pechersk Lavra reserve.
Pavel said that the leaders of the UOC-MP do not intend to leave the territory of the Kiev-Pechersk Lavra, despite the fact that the lease agreement is terminated from March 29. This was announced on Wednesday by the abbot of the Lebed Monastery and the head of the Synodal Information and Education Department of the UOC-MP Metropolitan Kliment (Dinner) on various channels from the Lavra.
In addition, the Church of the Moscow Patriarchate filed a lawsuit with the National Reserve “Kyiv-Pechersk Lavra” to invalidate the unilateral refusal of the contract, as stated in the ruling of the Economic Court of Kiev dated March 24.
On March 29, the UOC-MP called its supporters to the Lavra for a prayer service. At the same time, the believers of the MP – about a thousand – were aggressive towards journalists conducting streams and live broadcasts from the Lavra.
How to get rid of the UOC-MP
There will be no Moscow church in the Kiev-Pechersk Lavra, but “no one is going to pull anyone by the legs,” Danilov, secretary of the National Security and Defense Council, said on Radio NV. According to him, everything will happen “according to the law.”
Danilov recalled that the Lavra is a museum complex owned by the state, so the state will decide on it, “and not some individual people who for some reason believe that they will decide how to discredit our laws.”
He added that the churches on the territory of the Lavra will work, services will be held, but “artificial formations that were once created outside the laws of Ukraine” will not participate in this.
Meanwhile, one of the monks of the Kiev-Pechersk Lavra, Archimandrite Abraham (Lotish) asked Metropolitan Epiphanius of Kyiv and All Ukraine to confirm him among the brethren in the monastery of the Orthodox Church of Ukraine.
Epiphanius granted his request and appointed Abraham to act as viceroy of the Holy Dormition Kiev-Pechersk Lavra as part of the WTO.
After that, Father Abraham called on the brethren of the monastery to remain in the Lavra as part of the local Orthodox Church of Ukraine.
