Armored car “Varta” with the Ukrainian military came under artillery fire near Bakhmut, but survived.
Journalist Andrei Tsaplienko published on his Telegram channel a photo of a vehicle that was taking out a sniper group after completing a combat mission to neutralize enemy manpower in Bakhmut.
The enemy launched an artillery strike on the road near the village of Ivanovskoye. As a result of shells hit, the armored car was damaged by debris and fire.
However, writes Tsaplienko, the armored capsule survived and the driver managed to deliver a group of military men to the deployment point alive and unharmed.
SBA “Cost” (abbr. from Specialized armored car, eng. APC VARTA) is an armored car with a 4 × 4 wheel formula manufactured by Ukrainian Armored Vehicles. The armored car was built on the MAZ-5434 chassis.
