Four people were detained, heading in the direction of Slovakia. They have Turkish passports.
In the past day, the border guards of the Chop detachment discovered 10 border violators, four of them foreigners. This was announced on Wednesday, March 29, by the State Border Service.
It was noted that yesterday at midnight, the border guards of the Bolshoi Berezny department received information about a possible attempt by a group of people to illegally cross the state border. During the search activities, four people were detained, heading in the direction of Slovakia. They have Turkish passports. The border guards established that the foreigners arrived in Ukraine at the beginning of this year by legal means, allegedly with the aim of finding work in one of the private enterprises in the Kiev region.
“The detainees were taken to the border unit. After clarifying all the circumstances of the offense, they will be held administratively responsible for attempting to illegally cross the state border of Ukraine,” the report said.
In addition, not far from the border, the border guards of the Uzhgorod department detained three Ukrainians who were trying to cross the fields to Slovakia. They were found half a kilometer from the state border outside the city of Uzhgorod. All the detainees are men of military age, local residents.
The other three detainees tried to cross the state border individually. They were stopped at their sites in the dark by border guards of Bolshoy Berezny, Uzhgorod and Solomonovo departments. The men became residents of the Kharkiv region, the Dnieper and Kyiv. The cases of all detainees will be brought to court.
Remember that in Bukovina, when stopping draft dodgers, the border guards had to shoot.
It was previously reported that a boatman was detained in the Vinnytsia region, delivering draft dodgers to Moldova.
