Portugal gives Leopard tanks to Ukraine

Portugal will continue to support Ukraine in the war with Russia, stressed in Lisbon.

Ukraine received three Leopard 2A6 tanks from Portugal. It was announced by the Ministry of National Defense of Portugal on Twitter last night

Three Leopard 2A6 tanks donated by Portugal are already in Ukraine.

The defense ministry assured that “Portugal will continue to support Ukrainian resistance to Russia’s illegal aggression.”

On the eve it became known that Germany handed Ukraine 18 Leopard 2 tanks, as well as kits with ammunition and spare parts.

It was also reported yesterday that Ukraine received British Challenger 2 tanks. Defense Minister Oleksiy Reznikov showed a video with British armored vehicles.
