The Anonymous RU group attacked the websites of Slovakia’s National Parliament, National Bank and Ministry of Defense, as well as two banks.

Russian hackers attacked the websites of government agencies in Slovakia after the transfer of MiG-29 fighters to Ukraine. Portal vosveteit.sk reported this on Tuesday, March 28.

It was announced that the targets of Russian hackers from the group Anonymous RU were the websites of the National Parliament, National Bank and Ministry of Defense of Slovakia, as well as two banks.

“Most likely, this is a DDOS-type attack. It is typical for this type of attack that the attacker sends such a large number of requests to the server that, in simple terms, it crashes . As a result, websites and Internet services are made not work”, – said the message.

However, it is noted that this time Slovakia was able to avoid a massive cyber attack like it happened in January, when the websites of state institutions and private companies were attacked.

It will be remembered that on March 17, the Slovak government decided to donate 13 MiG-29 fighters to Ukraine. The first four of them have already been sent to Ukraine.
