A 55-year-old woman received six months in prison for an incident that occurred in August 2022.
The district court of the Cypriot city of Larnaca sentenced a Ukrainian woman to six months in prison, accused of attacking Russians with a knife while celebrating the Russian flag day. This was reported by The Cyprus Times on March 28.
It is known that the incident involving a 55-year-old woman happened in August 2022.
Videos circulating on social media show a knife-wielding woman approaching a small group of people waving Russian flags.
Due to the incident, no one was injured.
Initially, the suspect was charged with carrying bladed weapons, hooliganism, disturbing the peace and carrying a weapon to threaten. In September last year, he was released on bail of 2,000 euros.
