Zelensky discussed Ukraine’s defense needs with Duda

Ukrainian and Polish leaders spoke about urgent defense needs and joint diplomatic efforts.

On Monday, March 27, President Volodymyr Zelensky discussed with Polish President Andrzej Duda the situation at the front, Ukraine’s current defense needs and joint diplomatic efforts. Zelensky announced this on Telegram.

He mentioned that he discussed with Duda the course of the battle and the situation in some sectors of the front.

“We discussed Ukraine’s urgent defense needs and joint diplomatic efforts in the near future,” Zelensky wrote.

The President added, preparations for important events continue.

Remember, on March 16, Polish President Andrzej Duda said that Warsaw will transfer the first four MiG-29 fighters to Ukraine in the coming days. He did not specify how many fighters Poland would provide for the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

And on March 27, it became known that Poland will not transfer all of its MiG-29 fighters to Ukraine. The country’s Foreign Ministry said the planes will be moved one after the other to make these deliveries effective.
