Two earthquakes hit Iran

Tremors were recorded in Fars and Ilam provinces. Information about victims and damage has not yet been received.

Iran was hit by earthquakes of magnitude 4.2 and 4.7. It was reported on March 26 by Anadolu agency.

It was noted that tremors were recorded in the provinces of Fars and Ilam, they were also felt in the provinces of Bushehr, Lorestan and Khuzestan.

According to the National Seismological Center of the Islamic Republic of Iran, an earthquake of magnitude 4.2 was recorded at 21.43 local time in the city of Hesht. The source is at a depth of 10 km.

Another earthquake with a magnitude of 4.7 was registered at 22.43 local time in the town of Murmuri, its origin at a depth of 18 km.

Data on casualties and damage has not yet been received.

Remember, on March 24, an earthquake of magnitude 5.6 occurred in the city of Khoi in Iran. At least 165 people were injured.
