Carlos Chong Bell is the new Chief of the General Staff of the National PoliceHeafter the appointment was officially announced today in accordance with resolution 054-2023-IN, published in the special issue of the Bulletin of the Legal Regulations of the Official Gazette of El Peruano.
The same legal provision states that Chong Bell be promoted from General of Arms of the Police to Lieutenant General of the said institution.
In this sense, It is also established that the Executive Secretariat of the National Police take appropriate measures to ensure the effectiveness of these provisions.
The mentioned resolution is signed by the President. Dina Boluarte and Minister of the InteriorVincent Romero.
Appointments in the PNP
The preamble of the Supreme Ordinance states that Article 10 of the Decree
