The decision of Russian President Vladimir Putin to deploy tactical nuclear weapons in Belarus has been criticized by the international anti-nuclear campaign.
As long as the Russian regime has nuclear weapons, Europe cannot be safe. The Russian dictator justifies this dangerous escalation by citing decades of NATO nuclear exchange. This is stated in a statement by the International Campaign to Abolish Nuclear Weapons (ICAN).
Interim ICAN Executive Director Daniel Hogsta noted that other countries now do not consider nuclear weapons as a global problem. And this behavior leads to the fact that the paths make such decisions and clang “nucleus”.
Recall, on March 25, Russian dictator Vladimir Putni, in an interview with the Russia 24 propaganda channel, said that he would place a tactical nuclear failure on the territory of Belarus. The Belarusian and Russian regimes agreed that the weapons storage facility would be built before July 1, and nuclear warheads would be controlled from Moscow, the territory of Belarus would be used only for storage.
Putin also confirmed the transfer to the dictator Alexander Lukashenko of one Iskander OTRK, which is a potential carrier of nuclear weapons.
