The Deputy Minister recalled that three people have the right to publish strategic plans and military plans: the Supreme Commander-in-Chief (President), the Minister of Defense, and the Commander-in-Chief.
The Ministry of Defense of Ukraine urges not to discuss the future counter-offensive of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. Deputy Minister Anna Malyar recalled who has the right to publish information on this topic.
“It’s good that no one publicly discussed the counteroffensive in the Kharkiv region before it began. And the combat zone was completely closed to anyone except the military. Then the most successful operation during the full-scale offensive was carried out in the rule of the intensity of the liberation of our territories. Silence let the military buy time and do their job,” said Malyar.
The Deputy Minister recalled that three people have the right to publish strategic plans and military plans: the Supreme Commander-in-Chief (President), the Minister of Defense, and the Commander-in-Chief. All others can only quote official messages.
“There is no need to ask air experts, “What about the counter-offensive?”, There is no need to write blogs and posts on this topic, there is no need to publicly discuss the military plans of our army. “This already has a military secret. The three mentioned above will make them public when there is such a military task. For information is also a weapon, and we also fight with it,” Anna Malyar emphasized.
Recall that on March 22, in the evening summary, the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine reported that the Russian invaders had completely left New Kakhovka. However, the military soon denied their own report, noting that the information about the Russians leaving the city “was published due to the misuse of available data.”
