The air forces of the four northern European countries will operate as a joint air force.
The air force commanders of Denmark, Finland, Sweden and Norway signed an agreement on the joint use of 250 fighters. This was reported yesterday by the Norwegian newspaper Aftenposten.
It is indicated that the purpose of the air force agreement of the four northern European countries is to act as a unified air force. This includes joint training, joint technical support, logistics and planning.
“By joining forces, the four countries will eventually have around 250 modern combat aircraft. This is almost on a par with European superpowers such as France and the United Kingdom,” the newspaper wrote.
Earlier, the Armed Forces of Ukraine allowed the participation of foreigners in the service. Since the beginning of the mass invasion of the Russian Federation, thousands of citizens of other countries who wish to serve in Ukraine have applied to the Air Force.
