An arsenal of ammunition from the Second World War was discovered in the Vinnitsa region outside the village of Oratov.
This was announced today, March 24, by the press service of the State Emergency Service.
It is noted that the notice of the find was received extremely on March 22. Arriving at the scene the next day, the pyrotechnicians seized and defused:
- 40 artillery shells with a caliber of 76 mm;
- one 82mm mortar round.
Subsequently, after conducting reconnaissance of the nearby territory, the GSChS fighters additionally found another 162 pieces of artillery shells with a caliber of 76 mm. They are seized for further destruction.
We remind you that if you stumble upon a suspicious object, remember that it is already potentially dangerous! Report the find immediately to 101 or 102! — noted in the department.
