Dan Rice says that Putin continues to make mistake after mistake, violating all the principles of war.
The Russian army is losing about 25,000 troops per month in Ukraine. This is what Advisor to the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, American officer Dan Rice said in an interview with NV, published on Thursday, March 23.
“I believe that Bakhmut is the place where the Russian army died,” he stressed.
According to him, Putin continues to make mistake after mistake, violating all the principles of war.
“A year ago, he attacked Ukraine in the wrong month. You can’t attack in February under these conditions. But he still continued to attack this year in February and March. And all he did was “ate” his army. Attacking the open countryside, infantry against artillery, they lost so many Russians,” he explained.
Now the Ukrainian military is killing about 25,000 Russian soldiers a month added. In his opinion, the numbers for March are about the same. He also added that about 75,000 Russian casualties in Ukraine in March were wounded.
Rice noted that now the best units of the Russian army were destroyed, because it was a terrible time for an attack.
“Therefore, when the right time to attack comes, in the spring, Ukraine will have a stronger army, better support than last year. And you have to go on the offensive to regain positions. And I believe that this spring Ukraine will have a very strong “counteroffensive shock the world,” the military summed up.
Recall that we previously reported that from February 24, 2022 to March 23, 2023, the total losses of Russian troops on the territory of Ukraine amounted to approximately 168,150 people.
