Volodymyr Zelensky, President of Ukraine, today, March 22, arrived in Kharkiv unannounced.
So he gave the mayor Igor Terekhov the honorary distinction “Hero City of Ukraine”. This was reported on Zelensky’s Facebook page.

Zelensky also announced a meeting on the situation in the Kharkiv region: the restoration of the de-occupied territories of the region, the arrangement of fortifications, the restoration of infrastructure and the provision of assistance to affected residents.
He listened to the report of the military command on the operational situation in the operational zone of the Kharkiv UVD. I discussed with representatives of the energy industry the issue of providing all settlements of the Kharkiv region with electricity, the president noted.
Also in Kharkov, Zelensky awarded the heroes who distinguished themselves during the defense of the Kharkiv region from the aggressor.
