The number of Ukrposhta branches, where you can exchange incandescent lamps for energy-saving ones, will be reduced.
Since March 22, Ukrposhta is reducing the number of branches where you can exchange old incandescent lamps for energy-saving LED lamps. This was reported by the press service of the Ministry of Economy.
It is noted that this is due to a decrease in demand from the population in some departments. They will return to business as usual and provide only postal and financial services.
At the same time, the central offices of Ukrposhta and those where the exchange of lamps is active will continue to issue LED lamps.
In the most remote villages that recently joined the exchange project, the exchange will last until the end of April.
From May 1, it will be possible to replace old incandescent lamps for LEDs in 23 branches in million-plus cities and regional centers of the country, where demand and demand are still high.
The exchange program already covers 23,000 settlements in Ukraine, including occupied territories and front-line regions. Since the program began, nearly three million people have exchanged approximately 14 million lamps at Ukrposhta branches.
As of March 22, 11 million more lamps were available in all communities.
Recall that in mid-January, the government of Ukraine announced the launch of a program for the free exchange of old incandescent lamps for energy-saving LED lamps.
