In Kramatorsk, a spotter of a missile attack on a school was detained.
The Security Service of Ukraine found out that the accomplice of the invaders turned out to be an employee of a local factory. It was on his guidance that the invaders hit the school in Kramatorsk on March 5.
The traitor also reconnoitered the combat positions of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in the frontline areas of the region. His curators were especially interested in the coordinates of the location of long-range foreign weapons.
According to the investigation, in March 2023, a resident of Kramatorsk corresponded in Telegram with the moderator of one of the local pro-Russian groups. It was created to obtain intelligence information of a military nature.
The man sent data on the location of the units of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in the city. The result of the informant’s actions was a missile strike by the occupation forces of Russia on one of these facilities.
SBU counterintelligence officers detained the attacker while he was performing a hostile reconnaissance mission.
During the searches, a mobile phone was found on the detainee, which he used to transmit data to the aggressor. Based on the collected evidence, the SBU investigators informed the defendant of the suspicion.
The court chose him a measure of restraint in the form of detention.
On the night of March 6, the Russians launched a missile attack on Kramatorsk, destroying a school and damaging 15 apartment buildings.
