President Volodymyr Zelensky approved the provision on the honorary distinction of the Hero City of Ukraine and its drawing. The corresponding order was published on Tuesday, March 21, on the website of the head of state.
“The honorary distinction of the Hero City of Ukraine was established to celebrate the success, widespread heroism and steadfastness of the citizens shown in the defense of their cities during the rejection of the armed aggression of other states against Ukraine. The awarding of the honorary distinction is carried out by order of the President of Ukraine,” the document said.
It was noted that the city, which was awarded the award, was awarded the base of the top of the flagpole of the urban settlement and the ribbon of the honorary insignia.
The base of the top of the shaft is made of copper alloys with galvanic coating in the form of a cylinder, decorated with a relief floral ornament with a rectangular plate soldered to it. Embossed inscriptions on the plate.
