The President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky and the Prime Minister of Japan Fumio Kishida (Kishida) met on Tuesday, March 21. This was stated in the statement of the head of the Ukrainian state, published on his Telegram channel.
“I am glad to welcome in Kyiv Prime Minister of Japan Fumio Kishida – a truly strong defender of the international order and a long-time friend of Ukraine,” he said.
Zelensky added that Kishida came to Ukraine at a time when it is important to strengthen global leadership to protect the goals and principles of the UN Charter and international security in general.
It will be recalled that on Tuesday, March 21, Kisida arrived in Kyiv to negotiate with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky.
In addition, during his visit to Ukraine, Kishida visited Bucha, which suffered from the atrocities of the Russian invaders.
