Judges of Poland, Lithuania, Latvia, Romania and Moldova gave the highest performance rating of Ukrainians.
The Ukrainian group Kalush Orchestra on Saturday, May 14, won the Eurovision Song Contest 2022, held in Turin, Italy. The maximum number of points was given to him by the jury of five states and by the audience of 28 countries.
Thus, judges from Poland, Lithuania, Latvia, Romania and Moldova gave 12 points to the Ukrainians. Iceland gave up 10 points, Portugal, Slovenia and Croatia – 8 points each, Albania, Cyprus, Israel and Australia – 7 points each, Georgia, Montenegro, Azerbaijan, Belgium and Armenia – 6 points. According to the results of jury voting from 40 countries, Ukraine received 192 points.
At the same time, viewers from 28 countries gave us the highest scores:

According to the results of audience voting, the group Kalush Orchestra received 439 points, and in the overall standings – 631 points and first place in the competition.
At the same time, the Czech Republic (4 points), Switzerland (3 points), Ireland (3 points), Malta (2 points) and San Marino (2 points) gave the least to Ukraine.
It should be noted that the jury of Ukraine gave its 12 points to the representative of Great Britain, while the audience – to Poland.
Russia, which waged war against Ukraine, planned to participate in Eurovision 2022, but was suspended.
As you know, the winning country is hosting the next Eurovision Song Contest in one of its cities. Ukraine will do so for the third time. At the same time, President Volodymyr Zelensky said he would do everything so that once the participants and guests of Eurovision were hosted by Mariupol.
