An explosion in the city of Dzhankoy destroyed Russian Caliber NK cruise missiles while they were being transported by rail.
The mysterious “pop” continues the process of demilitarization of Russia and prepares the Ukrainian peninsula of Crimea for de-occupation, the Main Intelligence Directorate of the Ukrainian Defense Ministry added.
“Kalibr NK” – missiles designed for launches from surface ships of the Russian Black Sea Fleet. The range of destruction of such weapons is more than 2.5 thousand km for ground targets and more than 375 km for sea targets.
Meanwhile, Moscow-appointed head of the administration of Dzhankoy, Igor Ivin, told Krym-24 TV channel that “as a result of a drone strike on the city, a 33-year-old man was injured, there is no threat to his life.”
He confirmed the arrival of drones, but said that “several objects were damaged: a private house on Yuzhnaya Street.” According to the Russian Gauleiter, “there is destruction, but no people were hurt.”

The Moscow-appointed head of Crimea, Sergei Aksyonov, said that an air defense system was operating in Dzhankoy.
A state of emergency was declared in occupied Dzhankoy after the explosions, representatives of the occupation administration report.
