The head of the Presidential Office focused on the importance of providing additional arms and ammunition as soon as possible and expressed gratitude for the next aid package.
The head of the Office of the President Andriy Yermak revealed his phone conversation with US National Security Adviser Jake Sullivan.
“He informed about the current situation at the front, including the most difficult areas of the Donetsk region. He emphasized the importance of providing additional weapons and ammunition to the Defense Forces as soon as possible and thanked the next package of help,” said Yermak.
He also mentioned that he expressed gratitude to all the American people, the US President and both houses of Congress for Ukraine’s unwavering strong support in the fight against the terrorist state, the unwavering support for sovereignty and territorial integrity of Ukraine.
As reported, on Monday, the United States decided to allocate 34 parts of military aid to Ukraine in the amount of $350 million. The new military assistance package includes ammunition for US-issued HIMARS and howitzers, as well as for Bradley infantry fighting vehicles, HARM missiles, anti-tank weapons, river boats and other military equipment.
Remember, on March 3, the Pentagon published a list of weapons from 33 military aid packages for Ukraine worth $400 million.
