Turkey has proposed to send a ship to evacuate wounded Ukrainian soldiers from the Azovstal plant in Mariupol. Turkish authorities discussed this possibility with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky, but Russia did not agree. This was stated by the press secretary of the President of Turkey, Ibrahim Kalin, writes Reuters.
According to Kalin, he personally discussed the possibility of the evacuation of Ukrainian defenders at sea with Zelensky two weeks ago.
“Our ship is ready to go and deliver the wounded soldiers and other civilians to Turkey,” Erdogan’s spokesman said.

It was noted that Ankara’s proposal remains on the negotiating table, although Moscow did not agree to it.
Recall that now the military of the Russian Federation has not captured the evacuation column along with civilians from Mariupol.
It was also reported that relatives of Mariupol defenders turned to the Chinese leader.
