Shmyhal applied for candidates for heads of three ministries

    The Rada received Prime Minister Shmyhal’s submissions on the appointment of three ministers.

    These are the candidates:

    • Mikhail Fedorov is proposed to be appointed Deputy Prime Minister for Innovation, Development of Education, Science and Technology, and Minister of Digital Transformation.

    • Oksen Lesnoy is proposed for the post of Minister of Education and Science.

    • Alexander Kamyshin has been nominated for the post of Minister for Strategic Industries.

    A vote on the appointment of new ministers should take place in the near future.

    Vice Prime Minister Mikhail Fedorov will be involved in a number of other areas, in addition to digitalization. His future position is Vice Prime Minister for Innovation, Development of Education, Science and Technology – Minister of Digital Transformation of Ukraine.

    Pavel Ryabikin, who previously headed the Ministry of Trade and Industry, is going to be sent as an ambassador to China.
