The organization controlled by the Russian special services was liquidated in Ukraine.
Underground cells of the so-called “Communist Party of the Soviet Union” have been neutralized in Kyiv and in six other regions. This organization is controlled by the Russian Federal Security Service. After the full-scale invasion of Russia, the organizers of the association tried to create an extensive network of their own “regional committees” in Ukraine. This was reported in the press center of the Security Service of Ukraine.
It turned out that the activists of this party were supposed to call for mass support of the Russian occupiers and equip the “commandant’s office” to collect intelligence and prepare hostile sabotage. Former and current military men who began their service during the Soviet era were encouraged by enemy agents to join them.
The pro-Kremlin organization was led by Moscow-based Yuri Shchipkov, head of the “Central Committee of the Bolsheviks.” By his order, underground branches of the association were created in Kyiv, as well as Kharkov, Lvov, Dnepropetrovsk, Zaporozhye, Vinnitsa and Chernihiv regions.
The SBU promptly intervened and none of the hostile plans for subversion was put into practice. During the searches, the security service confiscated Russian passports, unregistered weapons and ammunition, red-handed mobile phones with a Russian “curator” and pro-Kremlin campaign materials from the defendants.
One of the organizers of the association has already been informed of suspicion.
Recall that the SBU exposed two friends from Kramatorsk who leaked the positions of the Defense Forces near Bakhmut to the Russians. Women recorded the results of shelling on Ukrainian infrastructure, corrected repeated attacks by Russians and reported on the locations of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
