Borrell said that if the members of the bloc do not sign an agreement on the joint purchase of ammunition, they “will face difficulties in delivery to Kyiv.”
EU diplomacy chief Josep Borrell expressedthat the EU should approve an agreement on the joint purchase of an ammunition block for Ukraine by countries.
“I took part in the opening of the European Humanitarian Forum. Humanitarian needs have reached a historic high, intensified by Russia’s aggression in Ukraine. We need to expand the donor base, ensure respect for international humanitarian law and strengthen the triple link – humanitarian assistance, development and world development,” he said.
According to Borrell, if the members of the bloc do not sign an agreement on the joint purchase of ammunition, they “will face difficulties in delivery to Kyiv.”
Remember, according to media reports, the EU will sign an annual plan for the supply of ammunition to Ukraine.
