The aggressor country, the Russian Federation, mobilized about 300,000 Russians for the war in Ukraine.
The mobilized were sent to resupply existing units and subunits, to form new formations and formations, as well as to deploy units and subunits of territorial troops. The reason for the mobilization of hundreds of thousands of people was the large military losses of Russia, constant desertions and the lack of the desired number of volunteers. This was announced by the commander of the Joint Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Sergey Naev in an interview with RBC-Ukraine.
According to him, the mobilization of the Russian civilian population for the war led to problems in Russia – growing dissatisfaction with the regime among the population, protest rallies and a decrease in confidence in the top state leadership. In addition, the mobilized lack the motivation to fight for the dictator.
Naev recalled that on September 21, 2022, the President of Russia announced a partial mobilization due to significant losses in personnel, an increase in the number of military personnel who do not want to participate in hostilities, and the lack of desired progress in the recruitment of volunteers.
Recall that the Russian invaders planned to mobilize in the temporarily occupied Mariupol. Until April 1, the enemy plans to provide a complete account of men from 2006. The invaders not only want to register the Ukrainians, but also ordered the local “policemen” to ensure the fulfillment of the mobilization tasks provided by the aggressor country Russia.
