In the temporarily occupied Nova Kakhovka, Kherson region, the car of collaborator Sergei Moskalenko was blown up – he died.
The Investigative Committee of Russia said that on March 17, an unknown person planted explosives under the left wing of the car. Moskalenko died on the spot, his wife and daughter were wounded.
Local media write that in May 2022 Moskalenko began working for the occupiers and denounced local military, activists, law enforcement officers, as well as participants in the ATO. Then he took the “position of the head of the pre-trial detention center” in the Novokakhovka police department. There he set up a dungeon.
Some media outlets and journalists write that the explosion occurred in the village of Yubileinoye near Novaya Kakhovka.
Prior to the full-scale invasion, Moskalenko had his own private security company, Jaguar, and in March 2022, he defected to the Russians. He was involved in the kidnapping and torture of many people.
