The Russian occupiers aim to start the population census on May 16 and complete it by the end of the month.
In the Kherson region, the occupiers intend to conduct a population census. This was reported by the Commissioner of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine for Human Rights Lyudmila Denisova.
It was noted that residents of the Genichesk district began to receive notices with a call to apply to the village council with documents. They must have a passport, identification code, birth certificate of the children, pension certificate with them. This only applies to those with a local residence permit.
The occupiers plan to begin the population census on May 16 and complete it by the end of the month.
“Since the idea of a“ referendum ”in the Kherson region failed, the Russian occupiers considered various options regarding the“ status ”of the temporarily occupied territories, including the creation of the so-called Crimean Federal District, ”Denisova said.
