Russia agreed to extend the grain deal for only 60 days, not 120. This was said by the representative of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Russian Federation, Maria Zakharova. This was reported by the Russian media on Saturday, March 18.
“We see messages from the parties to the grain deal that the deal has been extended for 120 days, we have repeatedly said – both the Foreign Ministry and representatives of Russia at the UN that the Russian side notified the all parties to this deal are extending the deal by 60 days. days,” he said.
Zakharova added that all parties were notified about the requirements of the Russian Federation to extend the grain deal for only 60 days, not only verbally, but also in writing.
Recall that now the Minister for Development of Communities, Territories and Infrastructure of Ukraine Oleksandr Kubrakov said that the grain deal was extended by 120 days. Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan also announced the extension of the agreement for 120 days.
