Personnel changes are expected in the Cabinet next week.
This was announced today, on March 18, in his Telegram channel by Prime Minister Denys Shmihal following the results of a meeting of the faction of the political party Servant of the People, where issues were discussed.
Smigal announced the following changes in the government, planned for next week:
- dismissal of the Minister of Education and Science Sergei Shkarlet;
- appointment of Oksen Lesnoy as Minister of Education and Science;
- dismissal from the post of Minister of Strategic Industries Pavel Ryabikin;
- appointment of Alexander Kamyshin as Minister of Strategic Industries.
In addition, Deputy Prime Minister Mikhail Fedorov will be involved in a number of other areas besides digitalization. His future position is Vice Prime Minister for Innovation, Development of Education, Science and Technology – Minister of Digital Transformation of Ukraine,” the prime minister added.
