Ukraine’s energy system on Saturday, March 18, works without restrictions. The system has a power reserve, however, blackouts are possible in the Zhytomyr and Kyiv regions. This was reported by the press service of the Ministry of Energy.
According to Energy Minister German Galushchenko, the situation in the energy system remains stable. In particular, the generation fully meets the needs of electricity consumers in all areas.
“At the same time, due to repairs to network facilities, some temporary restrictions on electricity supply in Zhytomyr and Kyiv regions are possible,” the ministry said in a statement.
It should be noted that on the night of March 9, Russia launched a massive missile attack on Ukraine.
As a result of the attack, power facilities were damaged in eight regions. In some regions there were blackouts, there were problems with water supply and heating.
