Serhiy Shkarlet will leave the post of Minister of Education and Science of Ukraine – the information was confirmed by the media in the Cabinet of Ministers, the Office of the President and the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine.
Director of the Minor Academy of Sciences Oksen Lisovoy may head the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine. This was announced on Friday, March 17, by People’s Deputy of Ukraine Yaroslav Zheleznyak on his Telegram channel.
“Instead of Shkarlet, the director of the Minor Academy of Sciences, Oksen Lisovoy, will be the Minister of Education. A very good choice,” he wrote.
In addition, the representative noted that the change of the head of the Ministry of Education and Science is not the only rotation of personnel planned for the next plenary week.
It is known about Lisov that he took part in the battles for almost a year as a volunteer of the 95th brigade of Air Assault Troops, while simultaneously acting as the director of the Ukrainian Academy of Sciences.
He was born in 1972 near Kiev. The son of the philosopher and human rights activist Vasily Lisovoy, who was detained by the Soviet authorities, and the teacher Vera Lisova. He graduated from the Reshetilov Art School of Folk Crafts with a degree in ceramist and the Kiev State Institute of Culture with a degree in Library and Information Systems.
