Aviation of the Defense Forces in one day delivered six strikes on places of concentration of personnel and military equipment of the Russian Federation.
The troops of the Russian Federation are suffering losses in the direction of Svatovsky, and positional battles continue in Bakhmut. This was reported in the evening summary of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine on March 17.
It was noted that the aviation of the Defense Forces in one day delivered six strikes on the places of concentration of personnel and military equipment of the Russian Federation.
According to the General Staff, in the city of Svatovo, Lugansk region, in one of the buildings, located in the eastern part of the city, there is a new hospital for Russians. Currently, there are about 30 seriously injured military personnel of the RF Armed Forces, who were brought there in the past two days.
“In general, there has been an increase in the number of seriously wounded Russian soldiers – evacuation flights in Russia have increased from two to three per week. Local residents with at least some medical education are involved in serving the wounded,” the report said.
Also, the General Staff informed that during the day Russian troops launched 19 air strikes and carried out 26 attacks from multiple rocket launch systems.
In the Volynsky, Polessky, Seversky and Slobozhansky directions, the operational situation has not changed significantly. The Russians continue to equip the land on the borders of the Bryansk and Kursk regions. Also, in the territory of the Belgorod region, the RF Armed Forces are holding a group of troops to carry out demonstrative actions and prevent the transfer of Ukrainian units to other areas. During the day, Russian troops shelled the areas of Starikovo, Volfin and Solyaniki settlements in the Sumy region, as well as Strelka, Glubokoe, Staritsa, Volchansk, Kolodyaznoe, Krasnoe Pervoe, Kutkovka, Dvurechnaya, Zapadnoe and Ternova in Kharkov region.
In the direction of Kupyansk and Limansk, the Russian Federation is unsuccessfully trying to break the defense of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. Again, a number of settlements along the line of hostilities were subjected to artillery shelling, namely: Veseloe, Gryanikovka, Olshana, Krakhmalnoe, Berestovoye, Dibrova and Andreevka in the Kharkov region and Novogorovka, Nevskoe and Belogorovka in Luhansk. The military of the Russian Federation unsuccessfully tried to advance in the direction of Gryanikovka, Verkhnekamensky and Disputed.
In the direction of Bakhmut, the Russians did not stop trying to capture Bakhmut, where constant battles for the position continued. The Armed Forces of Ukraine repelled attacks by the Russian Federation in the areas of the settlements of Klishchievka and Ivanovskoye. Minkovka, Orekhovo-Vasilovka, Zheleznyanskoye, Vasyukovka, Bakhmut, Grigorovka, Ivanovskoye, Ozaryanovka and Aleksandro-Shultino of the Donetsk region underwent shelling.
In the direction of Avdeevka, Maryinsky and Mining, Russian troops conducted unsuccessful offensive operations in the direction of Kamenka, Nevelskoye, Avdeevka and Maryinka settlements of the Donetsk region. Kamenka, Avdeevka, Vodyane, Krasnogorovka, Georgievka, Maksimilianovka, Marinka, Vuhledar, Velyka Novoselka and Zolotaya Niva of the Donetsk region underwent shelling.
The Russian army is on the defensive in the direction of Zaporozhye and Kherson. Malinovka, Gulyaipole, Zheleznodorozhnoye, Belogorye, Malaya Tokmachka, Novoandreevka, Malye Shcherbaki and Kamianske in the Zaporozhye region underwent shelling; Vremevka, Donetsk region; Dobraya Nadezhda – Dnepropetrovsk, as well as Dudchany, Kachkarovka, Vesele, Cossack, Ivanovka, Nikolskoe, Dneprovskoe, Kherson, Beregovo Gromadnoe and Kizomis in the Kherson region.
Recall, according to the commander of the Ground Forces Alexander Syrsky, the Ukrainian units achieved partial success in some sectors of the front.
