Putin should be arrested in countries of the world that have ratified the Rome Statute or recognize the jurisdiction of the ICC.
The Head of the Office of the President of Ukraine Andriy Yermak said that the decision of the Hague court to issue an arrest warrant for the Russian dictator Vladimir Putin significantly limits his ability to go to other countries of the world .
So, according to the court’s decision, now Putin must be arrested in 123 countries that have ratified the Rome Statute or recognize the jurisdiction of the ICC.
Note that these countries include European states, all of South America, as well as parts of Africa and Asia. The court’s jurisdiction is also recognized by Russia’s partner countries – Venezuela, the Republic of South Africa, the Central African Republic, and Tajikistan.
It can be remembered that the International Criminal Court (ICC) in The Hague has issued an international arrest warrant for Russian President Vladimir Putin.
According to Russian Foreign Ministry spokeswoman Maria Zakharova, the decision of the International Criminal Court in The Hague to arrest Putin is not important for the aggressor country from a legal point of view.
