The Armed Forces of Ukraine destroyed a battery of three Russian BM-27 Uragan multiple rocket launchers. Ukrainian artillerymen hit the battery, and the detonated Russian rocket completed the strike.
The video was posted on the air reconnaissance channel of the 92nd OMBR.
Aerial reconnaissance of the 92nd separate mechanized brigade discovered a deployed and ready-to-fire battery of Russian 220-mm rocket launchers near the village of Novonikanovka, Luhansk region, and aimed artillery of the 40th separate artillery brigade at them.
The gunners hit the enemy installations with two high-precision strikes, which resulted in the detonation of a loaded ammunition load and the complete destruction of two MLRS. The third “Hurricane” of the Russian battery was destroyed by a rocket that went off due to a fire and detonation of ammunition.
The authors of the video do not say what type of weapons the Ukrainian military used, but Militarny writes that the 40th OAB uses 155-mm M777 howitzers.
The unit is actively using M982 Excalibur precision guided projectiles, so it can be assumed that two accurate hits made at least 20 km from the target were made by them.
Operators of the 92nd Motorized Brigade used the Ukrainian Aist-100 UAV for reconnaissance. The unit received the unmanned complex from the Come Back Alive charity foundation.
