Electronic declarations for 2021 were submitted only by 29 out of 405 people’s deputies of the Verkhovna Rada. However, until the end of martial law, citizens and the media will not be able to get acquainted with them, and the National Agency for the Prevention of Corruption will not be able to check them.
The movement “FAIRLY” showed people’s deputies who filed declarations. Most of them are representatives of the Servant of the People.
From May 2022, during martial law, it is not necessary to submit declarations of any kind. After the end of the war, officials will have three months to submit a declaration without violating the deadline.
The head of the NACP hopes that the Rada will still vote for bill No. 8071, which will resume the process of filing and verifying electronic declarations.
There are more people’s deputies-declarants in the ruling Servant of the People faction – 20 (8% of the composition of the faction), followed by representatives of the Trust deputy groups – 3 (17%), and For the Future – 2 (11%).
In the factions of European Solidarity, Batkivshchyna, Holos and among people’s deputies, only one declaration was filed from the banned OPPL party.
As of now, non-factional deputies have not filed any declaration.
It should be noted that the list of those who voluntarily submitted their declarations does not include the leadership of the Verkhovna Rada, leaders of the parliamentary majority and chairmen of other factions and groups.
